White, after having iruvid- ed practically all over the coniuy. to day stated that the condition oi the roads in this township was found lo i)e excellent. Mr. White says that the loads recently have been dragiied af ter each rain and that Ihi.-. uccoiinls for the line shape in whicii iliey are found. One thing that was nolctl was the tendency to allow pine straw and oth er foreign matters to collect in the roadway, and in some instances, «his i.i used to fill up holes. According to all road builders this is extremely damaging to the newly con structed road as the foreign mat ter decays in a short time and leaves a mud hole.
